# What I do for a living

I currently work at <http://www.tchpc.tcd.ie/> as a systems administrator on a
[[!wikipedia high performance computing]] system. These days I'm doing
less sysadmin work and more of the *other* fun things, like supposed
research and development of *stuff*.

# What I do for fun

I play [[!google Left4Dead]]. I used to play [[urbanterror]], COD4
([[!google Call of Duty 4]]), DoW ([[!google Dawn Of War]]) and Supcom2
([[!google Supreme Commander 2]]), these games just aren't as fun as
[[!google L4D]]

# Recommended mailing lists of crap that I use and read

* [[!gmane comp.window-managers.dwm]]
* [[!gmane comp.version-control.git]]
* [[!gmane mail.spam.crm114]]
* [[!gmane mail.bogofilter.general]]
* [[!gmane user-groups.linux.ilug.general]]

# Recommended softwares that I like to use

Well this is really for my own reference really, I should move this
into a section of its own so I can just add more and more stuff to a
single page of links!

* <http://www.suckless.org/> - dwm and friends.
* <http://www.pidgin.im/>
* <http://www.silcnet.org/>
* <http://www.psyced.org/>
* <https://www.scientificlinux.org/> - or your distro of choice, I
  guess linuxmint or the newer versions of debian based distros like
  ubuntu aren't too bad. [[!google centos]] isn't too bad either.
